2012
A Passion For Service
In 2012, founder Pauline Hwang graduates from the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto. In January of that year, she opens a practice in downtown Toronto. She is registered in the licensing College after Chinese medicine gets regulated in Ontario in 2014.
2015-2017
Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology
Pauline embarks on an additional 3 years of training, completing her Masters of Medicine degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine Internal Medicine (Oncology major), with the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.
2019
Expansion to two offices
The practice (now called Oncology Acupuncture Toronto) expands to two offices in the Greater Toronto Area, one in Vaughan and one in Midtown Toronto.
2020
New associates join the team
Due to increasing demand, two experienced, excellent associate practitioners join the team to rave reviews from patients. Practitioners gain experience in virtual treatment during COVID lockdown.
2021
Third office opens in Warkworth
In January, Pauline opens the practice’s third office in Warkworth, Northumberland County, Ontario. The practice name is changed to Hillgreen Oncology Acupuncture & Herbs.
2023
Warkworth office moves onto Hillgreen Farm
After renovations of an old farmhouse, the Warkworth office moves onto Hillgreen Farm
2024
Team expands to five practitioners
Hillgreen Oncology Acupuncture & Herbs now houses 5 expert practitioners across 3 locations.
